Fucking kids care more about each other than we do
My mom basically told me that if I don’t end up like who she envisions me becoming, she won’t love me, and that’s where I base my definition on what good parenting really is. I believe that good parenting is not only about physically supporting your child but also pushing them and encouraging them to find themselves and who they are, because parents who choose not to love you because of your decisions, because of what you strive to be, because of who you are do not deserve to be around you, once you find who you are.
i’m thankful my childhood was filled with imagination and bruises from playing outside, instead of apps and how many damn likes you get on a picture
